Abstract

Клоновано ген α1-антитрипсину (α1АТ) людини. При використанні як зонда його першого кодуючого екзона ізольовано молекулу кДНК, що містить майже повну кодуючу послідовність. Визначено нуклеотидну послідовність регуляторної області гена α1АТ, відповідальної за його експресію в печінці. Обговорюється можливість використання ізольованих молекул ДНК для отримання продуцентів цього білка, а також для створення рекомбінантних вірусів, здатних переносити ген α1АТ у клітини кісткового мозку людини, що може стати новим підходом до генотерапії захворювань, пов’язаних з мутаціями у даному гені.
