Abstract
В огляді узагальнено сучасні дані стосовно цитозин-С5-ДНК метилтрансфераз рослин. Наведено характеристику трьох
різних класів цих ферментів — Dnmtl/METl, Dnmt3 і СМТ.
Обговорюється їхня передбачувана функція, пов'язана з під
тримуючим та de novo метилуванням залишків цитозину в
симетричних і асиметричних мотивах ДНК
