Неоднозначність меж транскрипції еукаріотичних генів

Abstract

В огляді критично розглянуто експериментальні дані, що свідчать пробільш складний механізм утворення еукаріотичних мРНК у порівнянні з матричними РНК прокаріотів, у яких транскрипція починається і закінчується в місцях, які відповідають 5'- і 3'-кінцям функціональних мРНК. Наведено приклади, що вказують на присутність у ядерних клітинах специфічних механізмів контролю диференційованої експресії за рахунок вибору місць ініціації і термінації транскрипції і/або поліаденілювання мРНК.
