Abstract

В огляді обговорюються існуючі моделі діабету у гризунів: як мутантні форми, віднайдені в природних умовах і отримані цілеспрямовано геноінженерними та генетичними методами, так і штучно індуковані за допомогою хімічних речовин, таких як аллоксан і стретпозотоцин (СТЦ). Показано за­лежність відгуку мишей на субдіабетогенні дози СТЦ від віку, а також зниження кількості препарату СТЦ для індукування діабету в разі повторного введення.
