Abstract
The content of tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase has been determined in human, bovine, rat and rabbit liver and pancreatic extracts by direct radioimmunoblotting with 125I-labelled monoclonal antibody. It was in bovine but not in other pancreas that the unusually high amount of tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase was estimated (about 0.2 %). According to the indirect immunofluorescent method, bovine tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase is located in exocrinic part of the pancreatic gland.
