Abstract
The detailed procedure of protein blotting is described in the following order: protein transfer onto the replica, blocking of the non-specific interactions, the interaction of the immobilized antigen with the 1st and 2nd antibodies, the visualization of immune complexes on the blot. Two practical applications of immunoblotting are considered when analyzing anti-oca-interferon monAbs' specificity and investigating (5-interferon expression in human HeLa cells.
