Abstract
Comparative study of macromolecular content of different mycelial growth forms of Th. terrestrls under submerged conditions was carried out with method of IRS. Exposed differences between forms in the content of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids and exometabolites are evidence of predominance of catabolism processes over anabolism in pellets' metabolism in comparison with growth of fungi in the diffuse form. The fungal growth in form of very small pellets («groats») for some parameters takes up the interim position between pellets >and diffuse form
