Метод пошуку функціонально важливих областей білків і пептидів за амінокислотною послідовністю

Abstract

Пропонується емпіричний метод передбачення функціонально важливих областей білків і пептидів. Розглядаються лише такі функціонально важливі ділянки, залишки яких розташовані близько в послідовності (лінійні або безперервні функціонально важливі ділянки). В основі методу лежить раніше виявлена кореляція між локалізацією відомих безперервних функціонально важливих областей в послідовностях білків і низькими значеннями профілів подібності цих послідовностей з послідовностями білків людини [7]. Застосування запропонованого методу до великого набору білків дозволяє правильно передбачити більше половини з відомих безперервних функціональних центрів.
