Скільки потрібно стовбурових клітин? (Проблема банкування пуповинної крові)

Abstract

В огляді розглянуто літературні дані, присвячені питанням банкування пуповинної крові (ПК) в різних країнах і регіонах. Серед існуючих форм банків – приватних, змішаних і публічних – останнім віддають перевагу більшість клініцистів, що мають практику трансплантації стовбурових клітин. Необхідність розвитку банків ПК визнають усі дослідники, однак відзначають, що прогрес цього руху залежить від низки обставин: дефіциту державного фінансування та браку обізнаності населення про можливості клітинної терапії, про доцільність і суспільну значущість запасів ПК у національних банках країни.
