Організація та еволюція генів 5S рРНК у роді Nicotiana

Abstract

Вивчено організацію генів 5S рРНК у роді Nicotiana. Показано, що ці гени розташовані в кластерах, тандем но повторені та екстенсивно метильовані. Види n - 24 плоїдного рівня переважно характеризувалися двома класами 5S рДНК, тоді як види n- 12 плоїдного рівня – одним, за небагатьма винятками. Серед австралійських видів роду спостерігалася чітка тен­денція до еволюції повторів 5S рДНК шляхом узгодженого зменшення їхньої довжини.
