Abstract

The peculiarities of active site structure and second binding site structure of thrombin is revealed. Alternative mechanisms of thrombin interaction with highmolecular or lowmolecular substrates are supposed. Also it is shown, putative function of the additional center of thrombin in productive enzyme-substrate complex formation.
