Abstract

The anti-sense cDNA construction of human low-density lipoprotein receptor (rLDL) was obtained. It includes the 5'-terminal fragment of cDNA rLDL and the murine metal-lothionein gene promoter. The construction may be used to obtain transgenic animals that are deficient of rLDL.
