Abstract
Mechanisms regulating expression of genes in the rplKAJL-rpoBC cluster of E. coli at transcriptionial and translations levels are discussed. As well as the functional role of mRNA structure, structure of regulatory ribosome proteins, translation coupling in poly-cistronic mRNA encoding these proteins, transcription control in the «rif»-region and autogenous regulation of the RNA-poliymerase β- and β'-subunits synthesis as well as design peculiarities oi recombinant DNA related to expression of these genes.
