Mini forms of the filamentous M13 vector phage

Mini forms of filamentous M13mp8 and mp9 phages have been isolated. Sizes of mini phages analyzed varied from 14 to 34 % of the complete phage genome. All mini phages contained an approximately 640 bp DNA fragment including symmetrically located ori site.
