Abstract

An application of lectinotest to examine the children from Kyiv province, affected by the factors of Chernobyl accident, has revealed significant difference in intensity of reaction with lectins, that shows directed and various changes in the erythrocyte membrane receptors pattern during both «iodine» and further period. The correlation between some lectinotest parameters and the density of settlements contamination by Cesium-137 has been determined. The characteristic decrease in the receptor activity has been observed in groups of children-migrants from contaminated territories and children, using milk with higher contents of radioactive Cesium. This may indicate the transition from adaptive states to disadaptation.
