Abstract

The influence of different concentrations of teichoic acid (TA) Staphylococcus aureus Wood 46 on NK-mediated lysis of tumor cells of Erlich carcinoma has been investigated. Low and moderate TA concentrations have been shown to enhance the NK-activity, whereas high concentrations are suppressive for NK-mediated tumor lysis. The simultaneous usage of TA and phorbolmyrystateacetate causes dose-dependent inhibition with inverse correlation.
