Abstract
Data on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of haemopoietic cell populations of 5–12 weeks of gestation have been presented, as well as their changes after cryopreservation. The results obtained concern the content of granutocytic progenitors, which practically do not function in the developing organism in this period of embryo-genesis, however they contain receptors responding to colony-forming factors and coming into proliferation and differentiation when cultured in vitro.
