Abstract

Using the method of site specific mutagenesis we have tried to knock-out one of three homologous genes for chaperonins synthesis in Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viceae. It has been shown that cpn60-1 gene cannot be destroyed due to its essentiality for cell life.
