Abstract
Over 2-fold increase in superoxide anion and hydroperoxide level was revealed in tat liver mitochondria at acute paracetamol intoxication. It is accompanied with about 35 % decrease in both NAD-and succinate-cytochrom-c oxidoreductase activities. Pcroral administration of two α-tocoferol acetate derivatives with different length of a isoprenoid chain promotes an increase in antioxidant status of mitochondria and reduction of the activity of the enzyme systems independently on the structure of the side chain of vitamin E analogs.
