Abstract
In experiments on rats (180–250 g b. w.) influence of α-tocoplierol and its derivative on phospholipids, free, esterified and total cholesterol, DPNH-cytochrome c oxidoreductase (complex 1–111 of respiratory chain) of liver cell mitochondria membranes during toxic hepatitis have been studied. It was shown that α-tocopherol and its shortchain derivative in dose 10 mg/kg b. w. could normalise contents of phospholipids and cholesterol and activity of DPNH-cytochrome c oxidoreductase during this pathology.
