Abstract

Results of the experimental study of hysteresis phenomena in the NaDNA-water system carried out with using gravimetric technique are presented. Intervals of relative humidity where hysteresis is observed correlate with ones of stable DNA conformation existence. Hysteresis phenomena reflect relationship between water sorption and conformational transitions of biopolymer molecule.
