Abstract

The purification procedure of the extracts from the yeast mitotic and meiotic S. cerevisiae and the recombination activity between homologous plasmids containing different mutant alleles of the fet-gene has been described. The reaction of recombination required Mg2+ and was ATP and dNTP-independent. The molecular weight of recombinant complex wax 440–450 kDa.
