Abstract
36 peptides comprising 263 amino acid residues are isolated from the tryptic hydrolyzate of the polyhedrin of the nuclear polyhedrosis virus of Agrotis segetum and amino acid sequence of 24 peptides are determined. Two extended fragments (12–173 and 181–244) comprising 226 amino acid residues are constructed that accounts for 93 % of the length of the whole polyhedrin polypeptide chain.
