This study is aimed at the polymorphism of soil-soluble spare proteins from different populations of Anthyllis polyphilla Kit. seeds. More than 30 proteins with the molecular weight from 15 to 100 kDa are determined. The protein spectrum has two constant areas (15–50 and 70–90 kDa) and three variable ones, each of which includes one or two proteins (53–55, 63–66 and 93–96 kDa). Correlation between some fractions changes in variable areas, but their total contents are constant in different variants. It is shown, that relative quantity of homology proteins in constant areas of the protein spectrum is also the same in different variants. A possible mechanism of the regulation of spare proteins biosynthesis is discussed.
