Investigation of closely bounded DNA-membrane complexes in the bacterial nucleoid composition

DNA-membrane complexes from E. coli were isolated by free-flow clectrophoresis. The changes in their structure after UV-irradiation were investigated. It was shown that free-flow electrophoresis can detect biomolecule damages in DNA-protein complex.
