Abstract

A cell line CHO-K1 /pro-has been consecutively transfected with plasmids pEGFP-C1 and pTR-GT60. A subline with genotype pro, neo+ , gfp+ , tkhv+ , hph+ has been obtained after selection in the selective media. The cells are auxotrophic mutants deficient in proline, resistant to antibiotics G-418 and hygromycin B, sensitive to Ganciclovir and produce greenish fluorescence when irradiated with long ultraviolet light.
