Abstract

A physical map of the genome of MS2-induced DNA-containing P23-2 phage has been constructed. The order of HindiII, PstI, PvuII, BamHI, EcoRI, SmaI restriction enzymes sites has been determined. The size of the phage DNA is calculated to be about 40 kbp. The MS-2-specific sequences have been detected in this genome.
