Abstract

Data of world literature on radioresistance (RR) of blastemas both natural and acquired in the result of radiation have been analyzed. RR in the most important reason of poor effectivity of radiotherapy of malignant neoplasms. The attempt to observe correlation of morphologic peculiarities of tumor cells with their resistance to radiation in connection with possible mechanisms of RR and state of rest in cell cycle of some genetic mechanisms, apoptosis and ploidity of tumor cells has been considered.
