Abstract

It have been shown, that death of bees from weak families was not connected by DNA fragmentation with DNAses. On the other hand, in weak bees the activity of glucose catabolism enzymes in cytoplasma and mitochondria was decreased, just as protein synthesis. Some disorders of mitochondria function were observed also. It may be supposed that DNA fragmentation as a mechanism of apoptosis is involved on the later stages of evolution.
