Abstract

The total RNA from three B. subtilis strains has been analysed. The wild and two mutant strains were grown under the repression and derepression conditions AKII transcripts distribution has been investigated by dot- and blot-hybridization. The lysinoperon has been shown to belong to the operon group, the gene activity of which seems to be regulated by the transcription attenuator.
