Abstract

A member of B. subtilis, Ps. alcaligenes, Ps. putida strains has been analyzed to detect plasmid DNAs. The authors have showed, the strains capable to utilize the surface-active substances to contain plasmid DNAs. The utilization of urea does not correlate with plasmid carrying and appears to be coded by chromosomal genes.
