Abstract

The level of protein biosynthesis in cell-free systems from rabbit liver was studied both in norm and 12 h after experimental myocardial ischemia (EMI). The results demonstrate that the rise in the level of [14C]-leucine incorporation into translational product in cell-free system under EMI is related to the increase of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase activity. Electrophoretical analysis of the translational products with subsequent fluorography has revealed redistribution in the spectrum of the proteins synthesized in cell-free system under EMI.
