Abstract

Low-frequency (15 cm–1 < ν < 200 cm–1) Raman spectra of polycrystalline 9-methylade-nine and 9-methylguanine at 300 K have been studied In detail. The lattice vibrational bands were identified. Assignment of low-frequency out-of-plane intramolecular vibrations was performed for 9-methyladenine vibrational spectrum.
