Firstly obtained low-frequency Raman spectra of all four canonical ribonucleosides – adenosine, guanosine, uridine and thymidine – and desoxythymidine in the polycrystalline state at room temperature are presented. On the basis of the data obtained the conclusion is made about the nature of low-frequency vibrational mode of DNA Raman spectrum, with the frequency about 20 CM .References
