Virus discovery in Panax plants growing in Ukraine

The plants of ginseng (Panax ginseng), cultivated at Bojarka forest experimental station are seriously affected by viruses. The thread type 700 – 1000 ntn viruses were extracted. It was established thur the tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) arouse ginsengs pathology. It was proved that CMV may be transferred through seeds.References
