Abstract

Обзор посвящен роли молекулярной мимикрии в тестировании и патогенезе инфекции, обусловленной вирусом иммунодефици­та человека (ВИЧ). Случаи наявности у белков разного проихождения или очень подобной, или полностью идентичной первичной аминокислотной последовательности и структуры оценивают как антигенную мимикрию. Установлено, что белки ВИЧ подобны разным хозяйским белкам, поэтому в организме вырабатываются антитела, взаимодействующие с ними. Это приводит к ошибочно-позитивным результатам при тестировании сывороток крови серологическими метода­ми.
