Abstract

Formal aspects of genetic code problem are considered. Special attention is given to the mathematical approaches for describing the coding process. A new numerical characteristic of nucleotide – determinative degree– is introduced. A model for rhombic code construction as an exterior product is proposed. Various algebraic and supersymmetric models of genetic code are discussed.
