Abstract

Two plasmids pSG1912-1 (10,3 kb) and pSG1912-2 (22,4 kb) were isolated from mycelium of three Streptomyces globisporus strains differing in the level of sporulation and landomycin E production. The number of restriction sites for endonucleases Bglll, Kpnl, PviJI and Sad was determined in both plasmid molecules.
