Abstract

The hammerhead type ribozyme-mediated cleavage of tat-RNA of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 data are presented. The ribozyme activity was appeared in magnesium-dependent manner at moderate temperature in the presence of monovalent cations and/or potyamines.
