Development of genetics in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 3. Current state of the genetic investigations

Major trends of the current genetic investigations are briefly characterized. The key directions and basic achievements of the genetic and genetically breeding researches within the system of NAS of Ukraine up to now are presented. Scientific activity of some research institutions and leading geneticists of Ukraine are analyzed.
