Comparison of genetic variability in BALB/c and C₅₇Bl/6j mouse lines from diverse populations

Summary

Genetic variability in mouse lines BALB/c and C₅₇Bl/6j from «old» and «new» populations has been studied. A cytogenetic analysis has shown that mice from the both lines of «new» population differ from those of «old» population by a higher frequency of cytogenetic anomalies in bone marrow and blood cells.
