New packaging cells based on the: adapted variant of the Rous sarcoma virus

We have constructed a new transformation-defective mutant of duck-adapted variant of Rouse sarcoma virus Prague strains sub¬group C (Id daPr-RSV-C) — based packaging cell line. FISlpJD which produces replication-defective vector with a liter 10b CfU/mt. Deletion of cis-acting sequences of\l> packaging region and E (direct repeat flanking src) in the adapted variant of retrovirus allowed us to obtaine a pool of retrovirus vector without helper virus sequences.
