Effect of radiation on lipid peroxidation and oxidies of SH-groups membrane proteins

Plasma membrane thymocytes were irradiated with doses of5—104 Gy. Lipid peroxidation quantity SH-groups in membrane proteins and effects on these processes, by cystamine. ionol and ethanol were determined. The results give reason to propose, that motive oflipid peroxidation cause direct influence radiation and interaction lipids with OH' -radicals. Oxidies SH-groups inproteins may be cause of process peroxida¬tion by membrane lipids.
