TTGA-tandem repeats allelic polymorphism of dystrophin gene among healthy volunteers from different regions of Ukraine and in DMD-families

The analysis or polymorphisms TTGA-tandem repeals in 3'-imlranslated region of dystrophin gene was performed among healthy population of Kiev and Lugansk regions and in 47 HMD-families from different regions of Ukraine as well. The distribution of the TTGA-tandem repeats allelic variants was obtained. Unknown allelic variant of the TTGA-tandem repeats (presumable three TTGA-unils) was found. This system was diagnostically informatived for 15 DMD-families
