Plasmid DNA Scrining in Strains of Microorganisms Used For Cleaning of Industrial Waste Water

Summary

    A member of B. subtilis, Ps. alcaligenes, Ps. putida strains has been' analyzed to detect plasmid DNAs. The authors have showed, the strains capable to uti¬lize the surface-active substances to contain plasmid DNAs. The utilization of urea does-not correlate with plasmid carrying and appears to be coded by chromosomal genes.
