A COMPUTER 'SYSTEM FOR THE ANALYSIS OF A POLY-NUCLEOTIDE CONTEXT FOR THE ROLE IT PLAYS IN THE APPEARING OF POINT MUTATIONS
Summary
It has become a fact by now that the polynucleotide context of specified variants of the polynucleotide sequences is of profound importance as for the appearing of mutations. However, the molecular mechanisms by means of which the polynucleotide context affects the appearance of mutations are what still hangs in the balance. The efficacious methods of sequencing led to the fast piling-up of data on the mutation localization in the sequen¬ces. We have worked out a computer system which proved to promote analysing the fea¬tures of a polynucleotide context that influences the mutations appearing. At present it consists of two substructures, namely, TheMutational Events Data Bank and The Complex of Methods to Analyse The Correlation Between The Context Features And The Appearing of Singular and Multiple Substitutions.
