ISOLATION OF SERYL-tRNA SYNTHETASE FROM THE ANIMAL LIVER BY PROXIMATE METHOD
Summary
A proximate method to isolate seryl-tRNA synthetatse from the animal liver is described. It includes polyethylene glycole 6000 fractionation, chromatography on DEAE-Toyopearl 650 M, and chromatography on the FPLC system of Mono S and Mono Q sorbents. A yield of the purified enzyme was about 600 ng per 1 kg of liver. The enzyme is a structural dimer (oc2 type) with molecular weight of 120 kDa.
