SIZES OF LOW-DENSITY LIPOPROTEINS IN PATIENTS' WITH ISOHEMIC HEART DISEASE AND NORMOLLPIDEMIA
Summary
The properties of size-usual low-density lipoproteins (LDL) (./? = 9.8±0.il nm), LDL of small size in healthy persons (R = 7.6±Q.l nm) and the size-small (R>=7.7+0!\. nm)1 lipoproteins of the same class in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) are compared. It is shown that in healthy person LDL of small size were more inclined to aggregation than the LDL of usual size. As to the size-small lipoproteins in IHD, they are more instable than those in healthy persons. It is suggested, that LDL instability may be a risk factor of ishemic heart disease.
