SITE-DIRECTED MUTAGENESIS AND EXPRESSION OF MUTATED LYSOZYME GENE OF PHAGE T4
Summary
Oligonucleotide site-directed mutagenesis of the lysozyme gene of phage T4 was used to carry out three amino acid substitutions. It has been suggested earlier that this can create an active site on the surface of the lysozyme molecule. Two vectors were constructed for expression of the mutant and wild type lysozyme genes.
