THE NONELECTRODE BIOSENSORS AS A NEW TREND IN THE BIOCHEMICAL DIAGNOSTICS
Summary
The development of one of the most important trends of nontraditional biotechnology — construction of a new generation of diagnostical systems on the basis of nonelectrode sensorial equipments is analyzed. Characteristics of principally different biosensors (on the thermistors, piezoelectric crystals, semiconductive structures, etc.) including enzymes and antibodies as biologically active material are discussed. Information about the construction, usage and development of biosensors on the semiconductive structures is underlain because of their high sensitivity, availability, for individual noncentralized screening in regime of real time using multi- and implanted detector and some other preferences (technologicity, simplicity, miniaturity, reliability, cheapness).
